This wasn’t just about giving the business a fresh coat of paint. The move to Nix Drones is about reflecting the real scope of what I do now — and where I’m heading.

The name John’s Drones was personal, friendly, and served me well. But over time, the business became more than “just John” — it became a brand with its own identity, personality, and growing community of drone enthusiasts, clients, and collaborators.

I wanted a name that was:

• Zoom (DJI Mini 4 Pro) – Compact, nimble, and perfect for flying in tight spots or where a lighter footprint is needed.

• Sneaker (DJI Neo) – The smallest of the bunch, ideal for quick take-offs and nimble movements.

• Twitch (DJI Spark) – An old favourite, full of character, and still great for certain dynamic shots.

Each drone is maintained, calibrated, and flown within UK drone regulations, because professionalism and safety are as important to me as the creative side.
